Coronal Polishing Course
The Ohio State Dental Board approves the Choffin Accredited Dental Assisting Program to train current Certified Dental Assistants using the low-speed handpiece to remove soft deposits and polish the clinical crowns of teeth. The program will include basic dental anatomy, infection control, and preclinical and clinical coronal polishing.
Applicants for coronal polishing will be required to complete a board-approved examination with a minimum competency of 75% passing rate on the day of the course. Enclosed is a copy of your DANB certificate with an expiration date or CODA with an expiration date.
