Coronal Polishing Course
The Ohio State Dental Board approves the Choffin Accredited Dental Assisting Program to train current Certified Dental Assistants using the low-speed handpiece to remove soft deposits and polish the clinical crowns of teeth. The program will include basic dental anatomy, infection control, and preclinical and clinical coronal polishing.
Applicants for coronal polishing will be required to complete a board-approved examination with a minimum competency of 75% passing rate on the day of the course. Enclose a copy of your current DANB, RDA, or CODA certificate with the expiration date. Also, enclose a copy of your current CPR card along with payment.
