Advanced training for surgical technologists through our partnership with AISE. Hands-on experience including Da Vinci robotic system.
Course Description
Offered in partnership with the American Institute for Surgical Excellence (AISE). Learn to anticipate surgeon's needs, maintain sterile environments, and support the surgical team. Features training labs across Northern and Southern Ohio, hands-on experience with the Da Vinci surgical robotic system, fracture table positioning, casting, splinting, and optional endoscopic vein harvesting workshop. Expert instruction in surgical anatomy, infection control, and compliance. The program is approved by the American Board of Surgical Assistants; upon completion, graduates are eligible to sit for the SA-C (Surgical Assistant - Certified) credential. Choffin's Surgical Technology graduates gain CST eligibility, a foundational step toward SFA roles.
